Can we just stop to appreciate that EJ Cardona, the main tenor, holds not only the final, resonant note for a FULL 25 SECONDS, but does so with a note shift upwards halfway through, right off of normal singing, and LOUDLY. Mad props to him and his lungs.
E.J.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DANG man........ you've sang your face off in nearly every video/song that Voctave has done but you may have outdone yourself here. Your control, the timbre of your voice is just something out of this world. I honestly could comment and applaud every single one of you on every video and I really should..... All of you as a vocal unit are just pure listening joy. Please keep the videos coming and I look forward to being blown away again with the next video. Congrats and many thanks to Kate, Tiffany, Ashley, Sarah, Chrystal, E.J., Tony, Jamey, Kurt, J.C. & Karl for sharing your talents with us. Biggest fan in Pennsylvania!
I have been a professional musician all of my adult life after attending Berklee College of Music. These singers are the creme de la creme anywhere. Kudos to the rich jazz harmonies. They execute same with perfect intonation. Singers Unlimited, Hi Lo's, Four Freshmen...the legacy is well documented. On a lighter note, does anyone agree that these 11 wonderful talents sound larger and more harmonically rich than the Mormon Tabernacle Choir with their large forces?
Lyrics:
Oh come let us adore him
Oh come let us adore him
Oh come let us adore him
Christ, Christ the Lord
O come, all ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye, oh come ye to Bethlehem
Come and behold him
Born the king of angels
Oh come let us adore him
Oh come let us adore him
Oh come let us adore him
Christ, Christ the Lord
Sing, choirs of angles
Sing in exultation
Sing all ye citizens of heaven above
Glory to God
Glory in the highest
Oh come let us adore him
Oh come let us adore him
Oh come let us adore him
Christ, Christ the Lord
Yea, Lord we greet thee
Born this happy morning
Jesus to thee be all glory given
Word of the father
Now in flesh appearing
Oh come let us adore him
Oh come let us adore him
Oh come let us adore him
Christ the Lord
No choir of any size can hold a candle to this group; every voice on its own and blended in harmony with the others in the group.
And many kudos to the arranger of the songs they sing. Voctave; not only do you make great music, you ARE great music. God bless you all❣️
