In high school we would sneak out early to a friend's house nearby to listen to jazz...there was a debate going on whether the bass solo was overdubbed! We were trying to figure out how one bass player could have pulled it off (years later I became a bass player and figured out how he was doing it)

Posting on my daughters site,used to see a band, Street Corner Symphony, down on the Landing in St. louis in the 80's, they would open with this tune and could absolutely kill it, along with every other song they did, fantastic talents and memories from long ago !
