I heard this today for the first time, and I wasn't sure if it was Sheryl Crow song. I'm glad the DJ said who it was and what it was called. Great song. It sounds like in belongs on Sheryl Crow's "Wildflower" album.

I get the comparisons a little bit I guess. The beginning part of this part sounds a little like Sheryl Crow's "My Favorite Mistake" and she sings with a sort of laid-back vocal style similar to Crow but that riff comes up in a lot of songs with a bluesy tone.
