I love this song! I love old school music cause it's pure from the vocals to the instruments! Ohio Players are the most soulful, funky,& suave band to come on the scene. I haven't been listening too much of today's music cause most of the music is foul & the artist are fake. Old school music gives you a joyful vibe. The Ohio Players started this funky sound!

Let me throw some history on yall. When this jam came out ''Body Vibes'' was very unique. Black radio did not capture this,but let me tell you,in Mt. Vernon New York,my friends from the Bronx and New Rochelle, was feeling this real deep. When this came out son! I was 15,smoked a joint with my guys,and vibed hard! This shit was different. I mean From Pain,Skin tight,Contradiction,Honey,Love Rollercoaster,Fire,it was too much for me.They were my Beatles and Earth,Wind And Fire for me! In televised culture,tv never tells you what music meant to black youth back then,as in life without hip hop. That music was mental cosmic for the tragic mind. Folks from the hood back then were ''Hard'' indeed,but real and nice,when you went to visit,you never felt death,you felt uncut realness,but no death.It's night time in the park,and your'e playing New Birth,Glady's Knight or some Slave. No gun shots tonight. Aint no reason for it. But Body Vibes was the break through,but then in 1978,on that Mr. Mean album,''Magic Trick''...........Nasty.......Ohio Players Forever!!
