What a great storyteller is Oliver Nelson!
Frank Foster was a wonderful instrumental raconteur on tenor saxophone as well.
I do adore the clean articulation of the trumpeter about whom I have to speak much more in the future.
Dolphy is his "bad" self on bass clarinet.
The bassist has for a long time been my favorite.
