This was recorded in 90 -91... these cats were way ahead of their time like a lot of their peers.... still have this in casette... the crazy part is most rappers still cant rap like this...and still playing catch up...

I've been looking for this song-- thanks-- The first time I heard this I lost my mind-- Could not believe rappers could verbally paint pictures like this- "I threw I-RAQ and I-Ran ..." Hype

"you could never ever begin to apprehend a hologram"? just meditate on what it takes to come up with the thought imagery and lyrics to express that. they used to hate doing this song live because it was so draining and complicated to deliver and it was hard to catch their breath between phrases.

"as you look from whence forth i come, riding the wind thus eliminating competition from bird's eye view i'm, descending in helicopters, in a village raid, flesh will burn when exposed to the poeetical germ grenade, i'm highly intoxicating your mind..." i saw them do this live acappella at Unity in L.A. back in '94. no one could touch them then or now as far as hardcore, freestyle underground hip-hop goes, including Freestyle Fellowship too brainy & intelligent for most rap fans :-(
