Ornette Coleman (alto sax), Don Cherry (pocket trumpet), Charlie Haden (bass), Eddie Blackwell (drums).
this piece is more than brilliant... and it's right to point out all men's contribution (I think that, beside Ornette, especially Haden and Blackwell had seven minutes of extraordinary brilliance)
One day we were talking about Duke and he went on singing ba ba ba ba bah. He sounded like a full big band with piano bass drums saxes trumpets trombones flute and clarinet. you name it. Serious: Another day ı swear ı saw him get blue and white light rays out of the keys of an ordinary Steinway baby
every time I try ornette colman it lierally hurts my ears, most overrated known jazzman figure in the history of jazz. his raw sound is like listening to drunk man singin. this album is least annoying to me, but still I rate it same as B class horror movies, which at leas can be fun at times.
