How did this band not make it! Most bands that were successful at this time that were actually good musically were Uriah Heep, Yes, Led Zeppelin, to a certain extent Genesis and there are elements of all those bands in Popol Vuh Norway's music, but they remained original and had their own sound. Jahn Teigen had a great voice.

A very moving, gripping, and powerful song. There are many really freaky parts of this song, but the ending gets me feeling breathless every time. Someone who's only solace is in death. Very sad. I would love to have their albums, but where can I find them? Why are there no vinyl reissues of all their output as Popol Vuh (Norway) and Popol Ace! Jahn Tiegen is easily one of the best singers ever too bad he went Eurovision after this band. Was Genesis's number one choice to replace Peter Gabriel and he turned them down. I think that tells you right there- he was great in progressive rock.
