To all the people who comment. Those days were just the best. There was an air of excellence to those days and that era. People appear too serious these days. l used to spray my boots silver like what slade wore. One day, l sprayed my boots silver without putting any paper on the carpet at mam n dads, there wad an outline of a pair of boots my dad went ballistic, but we laughed years later, what a great time l had. Mam and dad loved that era and were tollarant in many ways. My bedroom had a poster everywere, you could not see an inch of wallpaper anywere. David cassidy bay city rollers, wizard, slade sweet, later nazerath, van halen metallica etc. Great days.

This is happy music. Makes you feel good and feel like dancing even if you don't know how, it's fun to listen to. Beautiful harmonizing too. Nothing like that crap for the last 10, 20 years or so. The 60's,70's and 80's were the best. Too bad the kids today will never experience it. This stuff they call music today is garbage.

The 70's were possibly the happiest years of my life. I hated rock music. Specifically the heavy metal stuff & that which consisted of performers (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, etc.), that made Woodstock a once in a lifetime event. I was a couple years' too young when Woodstock happened, and I know now their audience was made up of today's LIBERALS!! But when I left home at 19 & moved to work in Washington, DC, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. A disco club on every corner it seemed like within a few block radius around 17th & L Street, 18th & M, dozens of them. And of course, Georgetown.
I was blessed with a gorgeous set of 'gams' (well, still do actually), and took advantage of that, (in a good way, my dance card was full), especially with the "hot pants", and mini-skirts of the day. I was one 'dancing queen' I'll tell ya, and loved every second of it! Whew, that song sure brings back memories! I REALLY need to get a couple CD's with these top hits on it to play in my car!

This music makes me feel so good inside. It instantly takes me back to a time when life was so simple. People were so care free and happy back in the 70's. I miss the joy on people's faces. Not saying it was perfect,but compared to the crap going on today we had it made back then. A totally different vibe in the air.
