I was too young to appreciate the Kingston Trio, Brothers Four and New Christy Minstrels when they were touring and at their height. Lucky for me, my parents adored them, and I had a second chance to appreciate the music in adulthood. Thanks for taking the time to post this timeless material.
The first album I ever bought myself as a youth was The Brothers Four - The Big Folk Hits back in the 60's.
For me they had the best harmonies and arrangements of all the groups bursting forth at the time (Kingston Trio, Limeliters, PP&M etc. etc)
