In 1956, this was our marching song at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. By the time we finished basic training, we were the coolest squadron around, our Guideon singing the main lyrics and the rest of us filling in with "Doo Ah's, Doo Ah's". Every time I hear this song, it brings back great memories and a big smile.
He'd walk in the door and everybody who worked the room went wild. He'd give the doorman a hundred just for opening the door. He shoved hundreds in the pockets of the dealers and those running the games. The bartender got a hundred just for keeping the ice cubes cold.
