Once your ears begin to mature with sounds then you can appreciate the genius and beauty of the one and only Monk! No one went in Monk's direction he was a true original.

Truly genius! I am a big fan of John Coltrane and he mastered "Ruby My Dear" with Thelonious Monk. May this song live forever in our hearts. As always, jazz on!
Sounds like it's from one of those gumshoe shows where he hangs up his jacket and right then the femme fatale comes in and they look each other like they might do it . And judging by the rain coming down on outside the building in her high heels yeah they're probably going to do it. As the saxophone plays the scene fades out because they're doing it.
Featuring The Great Wilbur Ware, my teacher who told me "Don't be scared of nothin'!" and "Always be yourself." Wilbur had the ability to look right through me , into my deepest soul at my darkest hour and mess with me. His friend, the great Leroy Williams would often be with him.It seemed like everybody in the the whole city of N.Y knew Wilbur. He treated all the nobodies like they were somebodies and all the somebodies like they were nobodies. When you were around him, you knew that he was a very special person; some might call him a shaman.A very spiritually evolved being. He lived in Brooklyn with his wife Gloria.I am very happy and proud to have had him as a friend.
