Love this song!!!! I remember listening to it from "Hello Children Everywhere". If there's one person I want to meet more than anything, it'll be Tommy. He's so brilliantly talented and I grew up watching his movies and listening to his singing.

I lived at this lovely house for 40 years and today is my birthday while I am starting my car this morning in the drive way a man came over and said did you know that Tommy Steele lived in this house. Well I play guitar and sing in a band 45 years ago what a coincidence !!!

Love this. First heard it on the way home from a heavy day's painting and decorating work about six months ago when I stopped off for a beer at a 50s themed pub in my neighborhood. (I'm barely 40, see, so it was new to me). Even bought the 45 single after that. It'll always be associated with that paint covered pint after a hard day's work.

This is, as far as I know, from 1957 from a Danish TV-show called "Pladeparade". A gem and a very rare clip.

I remember listening to this in my darkened bedroom lit only by the channel light on my wireless in 1957. Magic memories of the time.

Did anyone notice how much David Bowie looks like him? Compare the video from the Dick Cavett show where Bowie sings 'Young Americans' :) But nice to see this footage: I have this 45rpm single.
