Asha style - magnificent ! Hearing a touch of horse hooves, clippity cloppy, 4 beats with a Western flair and scrubby, dry bushes and a tree that needs very little water...Out here in the West we are keen to pick up on that very quickly.......love this, Asha !
Thank you my Brother and friend. I continue to listen to your music with a deeper awareness. I recently bought two CDs by Leonard Cohen. The first time I heard of him was through you singing Bird on A Wire and then a few other covers. I didn't get it at all. Then Leonard Cohen passed away and a new acquaintance mentioned him. I got curious and went on line to learn more about him. The time period that he was popular on the folk music scene I was working in mission and quite separated from the mainstream world especially music. I bought two of his CD collections and was stunned! I now get it, that song. I have been very active writing songs in the past two month, jotting down verses and lyrics on pieces of paper and then digesting them. Thanks for your inspiration.
Thanks, Asha. I have dedicated this beautiful melody to the great love of God Melchizedek and and his wife Christ Lizbet, in an eternal love. They are finally together now on earth in their eternal love.
