where is the rain
wisdom cries
Tick-tock tick, wisdom cries Wisdom, wisdom cries
We go running, through diamond eyes, back til we are back home
it s an emergency
Conscious all night, lightning strikes
We go running, wisdom cries Wisdom, it s an emergency
Where is the rain, conscious all night
No one s surprised, lightning strikes
are we meant to go down again
Are we meant to go down again, as long as we emergency
Wis-wisdom cries, are we meant to go down again
As long as we emergency, back til we are back home Wisdom, wis-wisdom cries
wisdom cries
Through diamond eyes, wisdom cries
Wis-wisdom cries, wisdom cries Aurora, we go way back in time
wisdom cries
Through diamond eyes, conscious all night
Back til we are back home, lightning strikes
Way back in time, wisdom cries
Are we meant to go down again, we gotta go back to the start
No one s surprised, we gotta go back to the start, are we meant to go down again
Through diamond eyes, wisdom cries, conscious all night
Back til we are back home, through diamond eyes
Wisdom cries, it s an emergency
The first few times this song is creepy and all mysterious but after a while this has become my jam and I am singing along and I've learn to get along really well with the creepiest yet most beautiful harmony that could ever be in the history of music (in my opinion at least). I think I see what Aurora wanted when she wrote this song: Pain, after a while become someone whome we can get along really well and be friends with, she wanted to explain that we could pretty much be friends with our demons, and she wanted to teach us that they too, like any other bad thing on earth, no matter how horrible it is, has beauty in it, I think this song can also have the same title of the album: My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend. She is simply genius. I love her.
“Wisdom Cries” is reminiscent of the inability to think clearly when we are disoriented. Touching on ideas like insomnia and melancholy, the minor chords and minor chord progressions intend to cause stress in the listener. When listening to this song for the first time, imagine waking up after a bad dream and not sleeping well, only to awake to a fire alarm or siren.
First time listening this song, and I am both fascinated and scared at the same time, since it's almost 12 am where live. But oh my god, guys, Aurora is so damn talented. She needs more appreciation and recognition.
Lyrics
"Wisdom Cries"
We go way back in time, time
Through diamond eyes
We go running
Way back in time
Through diamond eyes
We gotta go back to the start
Back 'til we are back home
We gotta go back to the start
Back 'til we are back home
Tick-tock, tick-tock
Tick-tock tick
Where is the light
Are we meant to go down again?
We go down
Lightening strikes
Wisdom cries
It's an emergency, emergency
Conscious all night
No one's surprised
As long as we...emergency
Emergency, emergency
Wis-Wisdom cries
Wisdom cries
Wisdom cries
Wisdom cries
Wisdom cries
Wisdom cries
Moths are the polinators of the night. I would say the pollinator of dreams. is she the dreamer to which they flock to. As she pollinates our minds with her music.
when i hear this i just kinda imagine a couple of aliens really wanting to go back to the planet but then when they finally get their ship fixed and are on their way their ship starts breaking down, emergency emergency and then they go down. star-crossed. esp at the star crossed part i imagine them just holding hands watching the front window while they fall to their deaths bye aliens
This makes me remember of history class. All those mistakes from the past and we just keep making the same mistakes. Wisdom really cries ~ Why can't we go forward? I just wish this world would get better but it gets worse.
I love how everyone in the comment section has a different feeling and go into different worlds when they listen to this song. Aurora is such a powerful singer!❤️
Don't know how to explain but when I close my eyes and listen to this music I feel like I'm in one of my dreams. I feel like there is so much happening that, if I open my eyes, I'll be in one of those worlds I can only dream of when I'm sleeping.
