Jay Aston was then, and still is now, quite lovely. Nice showcase for her lead vocal. These four could handle most any kind of music, and RCA's failure to promote them well here in the US borders on the criminal. Got a copy of their Ultimate Anthology CD; great stuff.

Bucks Fizz is under appreciated here in the US. Perhaps it's because they're so middle-of-the-road. I could picture Ed Sullivan annoucing "Ladies and Gentlemen, here is Bucks Fizz!" They're tame enough for mom and dad but they're a bit naughty too!

Jay was always my favourite.
She had the drama the other three could only try to copy and was a such a dark horse too.

I've never forgotten this! It was Stan Boardman broadcasting from an oil rig. Bought the debut album and always loved a bit of Jay Aston. She always stood out for me performing. There was definitely a bit of depth going on there. Love it.
