You were most beautiful as the damage and the trauma
Pounding hard with battered wings of destiny
You were my last great war
You were my heaven ablaze
Riddled with faults and fractures
And I spent my last of days burning my oldest of bridges
And I spent my last of nights killing the best of friends
In the company of thieves, liars, beggers and whores
I’ll lay waiting, just waiting for my time to come
I'm just curious, but I wonder how Converge feels, about Husker Du & Sonic Youth. I don't really know much about the bands that influenced Converge, but I wouldn't be surprised if they took some cues from Husker Du & Sonic Youth.
Some albums you can say "this never gets old!" But very few albums you can put on and experience the exact same excitement you felt when you first discovered their brilliance. Jane Doe is one of those records. It never fails to blow me away.
HAHAHAHAHA, you're joking right? No memorable riffs? The vocals vary somewhat. This album was love at first sight when I heard "Concubine" This is one of my favorite albums of all time....you're just a shallow Metal-listener
