This was my favorite song of 1983. Bought it on 45 and played it constantly. Still have that record! I can't believe how crappy music is today compared to this. Glad I was around to have heard songs like this when they were new.
I have this on an old 45, it is warped, but it still plays fine. This was my favorite of all time and when I was little I would scream out the last part.
I had such a crush on her in the 80's. Was disappointed when she changed direction and tried going pop....but she came back with some amazing music. I still love her !!
i was 15 years old when this song came out. to this day, it remains one of my all time favorite love songs. they certainly don't write em like that anymore, do they? one more thing, why oh why don't country music radio stations throw in more 80's classics like this one? it's always about new country. screw that! give me some rosanne cash, eddie rabbit, ronnie milsap, juice neweton and of course sylvia!
I was 5 years old when this song came out and 34 years later this song is as awesome as it was back then and trust me when I say I love old music like this song
i spend 32 years and still think they hear for the first time so fresh and timeless, really magic for me.I believe that it belongs to the category, with the best songs of the century, certainly should have reached to number one pop and country charts.Always it reminds me beautifully years lived in yesterday listening to.Deborah allen she was the best kind of pop -country artist ever.
Wow!!!
This brings me back to when I was a young child. Remember this when my Momma would be listening to this getting ready to go to the dance. Memories!!!
