A story: My teacher showed this song to my class one time and I loved it. She played it over and over and sang it to the class. She was older, but her voice was kinda and lovely. The whole class sang together and it was the happiest time of my grade school. I tried to memorize it as much as I could so I would be able to sing it to my mom, since she also loved music and older songs. Mom said my grandma used to sing it to her. I was happy that I could bring back a good time in her life and so I held onto the memory, but later I forgot it. I hated myself until a year later when I watched the beginning of a “Gilmore Girls” episode and heard it. I started crying as I suddenly remembered the song that I had forgotten. I can’t help but cry when I think of my teacher who was like a grandma to me and a class that was like my family. I love you Therese, you are/were a big part of my life. This song makes me have the feels. Especially when I'm panicking for my future, and overthinking what'll happen, this song makes me feel better after having those moments.

fun fact: Doris Day is my moms second cousin! I recently found out abt this and I was so surprised! (didn't know her before tho)

My gran sang this to my mother. My mother sang this to me and I'll be damned I'm singing it to my little angel.

She died on May 13th and was 97. Bless her and RIP

My mother always used to hum this song when I was young. We would get into fights, but we were very close.. we still are. I just found out what song this is 14 years later. I didn't expect that this song was old. It feels so nostalgic and life-changing now that I now know this song
