The problem of translating is complicated - lyrics can never br translated word for word because they won't make much sense - a good example is the song La Mer which in its original form is an ode to the sea which rhymes and has meaning in French, but not in English, and so it became Beyond The Sea - Where have All The Flowers Gone translated into German becomes literally "Tell me where the flowers are" which isn't even a question - so as I say it's hard.

This is an original Spanish language song, Perfidia,  written by Alberto Dominguez in 1937.  Milton Leeds wrote the English lyrics and was first recoded by Tony Martin in 1940.
