*Hits another car* "I think your country calls that collateral damage".
*Walks in Perseus. Pulls out baseball bat* "Yo, you better hide that bullshit".
I had the good fortune to meet Duke Ellington on 58th street in Manhattan, NYC. At first, he was difficult to recognize because he was wearing a porkpie hat, a green shirt and pink"highwater" pants. In addition to being a superb musical genius, he was also a gentleman who commanded the high.est respect. I remember that all the taxis would pass by and the drivers would stop and say, "Hello, Mr. Ellington." I will never forget that day.
Reading these comments makes me so happy, there are plenty of people reminiscing about Duke Ellington, others talking about how they were first introduced to Jazz music by the great Roy Haynes, who at the point of writing this comment is 95 years old, they will all forever be immortalized by the medium of video games.
My heart goes out to all the Jazz musicians of the Era and especially to Roy Haynes.
Humanity has preserved these people in such a way that it will only really truly be realized after they have all passed away.
Much love to all!
