Hands down, this is one of the greatest piano sonatas ever written. Utterly captivating, engaging, accessible from start to finish. I love this piece so much.
I can't say I love this, but it's a good listen. It's like if Stockhausen and Schoenberg wrote a project piece together and decided to use consonant harmony.
I love it. The man was an incredible composer and it showed early on and lasted for 70 more years. There is a lot of Debussy in this piece. The chromatics are just gorgeous.
