This is shaping up to be an album that is not gonna be well received by most fans at first, but it'll grow on everyone eventually.

This is fantastic. Didn't know people were saying it's bad, and I can't see why. It sounds like they took TTTS era songs and mixed it with the progressiveness of their expansive record of releases. It's very good!

If Rou makes a rap album i would definitely buy it cause he's dope in my opinion. I love how the song is chill through out the song then there's a breakdown in the last part of it. I can't wait for the new album.

Grooves like a Rage Against The Machine verse, excellent rapping and a heavy woosh a la 65daysofstatic after a few beers. Been a fan for a long time. Top quality kicks here.

If you don't like their new 'lighter' music, go and listen to their old albums again. It's not like they're disappearing because of this new album

Man, I absolutely love the atmospheres in this track!  Lyrics are on-point, impactful, and never feel overly forced or bombastic.  This album seems like it promises a lot of dimensions.  I say good for them.  They're not stagnating in the same sound, and clearly aren't afraid to try a variety of styles. On another note, to the people calling this track "boring"...there's a lot to appreciate here - spare your instant criticism until the album is released so that you can hear it in context to the surrounding songs.

No matter how Enter Shikari adapt their sound, they always manage to do it in such a beautiful manner. Another grand song for what shall be a grand album.

I'm the only one that doesn't see all this difference between the old and new ES? Imho their sound has not changed so deeply to jsutify all these stupid comments about "the old albumz, the good old ES...etc"..Its seems to me they only changed a bit, made new songs ...but the lyrics style, the music and the rythm is similar...yeah its not the SAME! but what you want? An identical album lol?

Too many people seem to be moaning about this. I mean it has so much packed into it, it's great. The rap, the electronics, the ambience compliments the heavy sections, melodys and harmonies just weaving in between each other, the calm and the chaos. I haven't been a fan of theirs for a while but this is pretty amazing. It's beautiful and brutal at the same time, something that can either be executed perfectly or awfully, there is no middle ground and this hits the nail on the head in my opinion.

And the synth during the break down/outro totally reminds me of the Take to the Skies era

Live thoughts on first listen: Has Rou gone back in time to do Will Smith style 90s rap? Hmm, I was hoping Last Garrison was the lightest track on the album, not the heaviest. Very laid back, Gorillaz style beats it seems. Wouldn't expect Shikari to go in that direction. Rory or Chris popping in, always good With those backing vocals this would fit in fairly well on the better half of that new Pink Floyd album, maybe a bit too exciting though. Backing singing is killing it on this album. 2:05 oooh building up with some arpeggio... 2:20 yes, here we go! lyrics from this bit remind of "Nature is the only dictator, that I respect and obey" from the last album, great running theme. Screams on this could be raw live. fuck yeah, those drums are good. very short payoff for all of that buildup, is it over already? That's creepy. looks like the songs on this album will be more self contained than on Flashflood where they seemed to flow between tracks. Now to listen on repeat for a month or so like the last one.

You know what? Hats off to Enter Shikari for an extremely well made song. Ok, maybe its not as heavy as the likes of Sorry Your Not or The Last Garrison or Meltdown etc but it's still a very well made album. Them four boys have really grown musically in my eyes, they are always looking to do the different, go that extra mile, not stay the same sort of thing. But people always expect the same. "Oh this song isn't heavy", "I preferred the old albums" la la la la la. Ok, its opinion i get it but i would like to counter than opinion and say hold on a minute, actually listen to the music and see how they have gotten better! This song is not heavy at all, but neither was Pack Of Thieves of the last album was it? This is the Pack Of Thieves of the album, and I know this album is going to blow the last one out of the water. I cannot wait for it and i cannot wait to see them in February. Keep doing what you do Shikari!!!

Loving the rap-style from Anaesthetist and now this one. Great rhythm, seriously. Even the quiet "sinking feeling" moments are eargasmic
