My eyes have been wide open for more years than I expected to be alive for reasons not of my own making. I listen to this song, afresh, decades apart, and find this song to be so appropo', in my life right now. Another difficult hurdle of life, but nothing I haven't already faced, just became a strong warrior in the 21 years past when the hurdle started.
