I was reading a book called 'moon rise' and they referenced Eva and her last song, so I came to listen to it and I was blessed by her voice. Rest in peace Eva your songs will live on forever❤❤❤❤
It is heartbreaking to think that Eva summoned this performance when she was so ill she had to be carried on stage. This world lost an angel shortly after this, I believe....
There is no gimmick, no overindulgence for the sake of grandstanding. Just the pure flow of a voice that never sounds strained or even close to its edge. This is the first time I have heard her. But not the last.
I see trees that are green, red roses too
I watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more, than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, ohh what a wonderful world
The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of the people passing by
I see friends shaking hands, saying, "how do you do?"
But they're really saying, "I love you"
I see trees that are green and red roses too
I watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, oh what a wonderful world
The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of the people passing by
I see friends shaking hands, saying, "how do you do?"
But they're really saying, "I love you
I see trees that are green and red roses too
I watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, oh what a wonderful world
I think to myself, ooh what a wonderful world
she simply...captivated me with her voice and spirit. They way she made lyrics standout. Smooth, calming passion. ..would've loved to just gotten to know her!
She makes you feel you are hearing music for the first time. I also admire that she lived her life her way. Performed where she wanted and refused to fit into someone else's demands. She knew who she was. An amazing presence. Even though she has crossed over she is still with us, inspiring us. What a Wonderful World.
