Yeeeaaahh!
Let the fire burn…
Let the fire breathe…
Like a thousand suns…
Into eternity…
Burn…
Burn…
Oh burn…
(Come on)
(Come on)
Come on!
Bring it on!
Yeeeaaahh!
Feel the spirit rise…
Illuminate as one…
Look into my eyes…
(Eyes)
Just let it come…
Burn…
Burn…
Oh, in our eyes!
Too late!
(Too late)
To know!
(To know)
You’re not there…
Prophecy…
(Prophecy)
What I say…
(What I say).
You’re not there…
Prophecy…
(Prophecy)
What I say…
(What I say)
You’re not there…
Uff!
Burn!
(Burn)
Burn!
(Burn)
Burning…
Burn!
Not bad, but nothing special. Sounds like a watered down track from Zoon. I was hoping to hear something like Mourning Sun, Trees Come Down, or Psychonaut.
Something is not Wright.
+ Solid and cool.
- Guitars like Billy Duffy from The Cult in Sonic Temple and double pedals on drums?
- Did Tony do this bassline? Had he a broken hand and only one string left?
- Lyrics? Is that McCoy?? Not very deep.
My take at lyrics:
Fields of the Nephilim
"Prophecy" (Solar Vision)
Yeeeaaahh!
Let the fire burn...
Let the fire breathe...
Like a thousand suns...
Into eternity...
Burn...
Burn...
I will burn
Come on!
(Come on)
Bring it on!
(Bring it on!)
Yeeeaaahh!
Feel the spirit rise...
Illuminate as one...
Look into my eyes...
(Eyes)
Just to let it come...
(Just to let it come)
Burn...
Burn...
You will burn!
Too late!
(Too late)
To know!
(To know)
Now I'm there!
Prophecy...
Why I see...
You're not there!
Prophecy...
All I say...
You're not there!
(Mumbling):
Don't need to care...
Follow me...
Enlighten us...
Burn!
(Burn)
Burn!
(Burn)
Ahh...
Let the fire burn
Prophecy...
Why I see...
The fire breathe!
Prophecy...
What I say...
I will burn!
The Lords have returned. "Prophecy" combines the new and the old. It's fresh and at the same time forged by the Nephilim magic of old times. The song works out perfect at live shows too. Great for the pit. The Greek Neph Legion salutes you!
I can say, right, it's not like Fields of the Nephilim, but instead of saying about "good old Nephilim", objectively say: it's good. It's really good, if we forgot about fact that it's FotN. It's nice gothic rock going to metal, the riff is strong and the vocal fits in nice way. Remember, guys, there was something like The Nefilim, and it was more metal than original Fields - so the Fields also can go this way. Who don't go forward, go backward.
Sorry its nothing like the original FOTN this more metal think of there first three albums then listen to this, been in to there music for thirty years & its not my cup of tea, the fans have been waiting for a long time for new songs sorry carl but its not your best
I like the drums only. It sounds like early 90's black metal demo tape. It may resemble Phobia or Penetration, but it's not comparable. However, I'm waiting for the new album.
This is listenable but it’s a bit too bland for my taste. I’ve gone through their entire discography and this isn’t as experimental as their previous tracks.
Always love the bass punching through the mix. Great to hear Tony again. That tone is a staple Neph sound, and no matter the current state of the guitars, I can dig it. And Carl. There's always Carl.
