That particular album that is shown at the very beginning of this video has Escapades Rap" on side-A & "Escapades Dub" on side-B. I'm looking at my copy as I'm typing this. It kind of is misleading with that big box saying "Music composed and performed by THE CLASH" I have to admit when I first came upon this I thought it would at least be a 4-5 cut EP. Although, I still recommend to grab one upon sight. It's a one of a kind historic piece.
Just for the info, if u check close at the grafitti painting on the sleeve, they r actually just one by adding the other records' sleeves DST, phase 2 etc ... if u own them all, the original ones.
To me this recording embodies the very essence of all of Hip Hop's many creative styles carved right into the grooves of a record.
Rustoleum Rocks The House... 'nuff said.
I remember being like 13 or 14 in the ATL catching this on a mixtape by one the 1st guys in my neighborhood to own a pair of Technique 1200s!! The Clash was the ish back then! I used to bang this in a Sony Walkman like CRAZY!....Wooooow!
ahhh...that explains why i never came accross any other tunes. I always assumed it was from a 6 track ep or such like. Are you sure it was only released as a single and b side dub?
