I’m strapped into my bed, I’ve got electrodes in my head
My nerves are really bad, it’s the best time I’ve ever had
I’m a sick boy and there’s no cure
I’m a sick boy there should be more
But I’m happy the way I am, like a sardine in can
People taking notes, people in white coats
I see school girls everywhere, short skirts and pig-tailed hair
But why must I suffer. for being a gym slip lover?
I deserve a punk cookie. In 83 I was in High School in Detroit (suburbs), got fake id's and saw GBH at a gay bar and blew out my hearing for two day. GBH!
I was 14 years old in 1987 and went to see GBH live with some older friends at the time... after the concert I dived into the punk-rock scene and never looked back until this day... I've never stoped listening to old and new punk bands since, and I still dress in leather jacket, motorcycle boots, have spiked haircut, wear safety pins and bike chains with Rabbit padlocks, drink lots of beer and go to underground concerts to jump and kick around like a fucking demented maniac and conspire against the state... and I still have lots of fun doing it... I'M a SICK BOY... SEX and VIOLENCE help keeping me sane and balanced in this bullshit society and in this crazy fucked up world... GBH is still the best punk live band today...
Yeah man!! These guys got me f*cked up when I was a bouncer backstage years ago. I was hallucinating from absynth, weed, and screw drivers lol. I was still able to do my job though. Good memory because one of my favorite bands played at work.

Im from the USA and GBH has always been one of my favorite punk bands of all time. GBH for life biooootches. If you dont like GBH than you dont like punk rock.
I took the photo at 00:28 at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles in 1984. It was posted online 18 years ago and passed around since. I have written books and made documentary films for many years, but I don't think 3.2 million people have seen anything else I've produced - just this photo. Cool.
