George Beverly Shea - How Great Thou Art download song

Billy Graham assembled an excellent musical team that consisted George Beverly Shea as soloist, Cliff Barrows as song leader and choir master, and Tedd Smith as pianist. The ministry of all three of these men is evident in this video.

Reflective, and meditative. It's not done like this anymore. The body is stirred, not the soul with most song today.

Now George beverly is singing that song in heaven with armies of angels praising the Lord.

The night before my Grandmother died in December 1965  she was packing to come to our home to visit her 7grandchildren. My cousin put George Beverly Shea's record on the stereo, "How Great Thou Art." Grandma said, "Oh turn that up louder. I just love to hear him sing." That night Grandma went to bed and the next morning died. They played it at her funeral

The greatest hymn of all time.  The greatest gospel singer of all time.  Makes your soul sing.

I cry every time he sings this song ! He sings it with so much conviction and validation.

I used to poo poo this song in church as a kid..now I love it...I'm 28!

He's my favorite male Gospel vocalist of all time.

It is sobering to contemplate that this was filmed 50 years ago, and that most of the people pictured are probably dead by now.

A new man, a new husband, a new father and it’s all because Jesus and His words opened my ❤️ heart and made the choice to open the door and let Jesus in, THANK YOU JESUS MY REDEEMER/SAVIOR/PRINCE OF PEACE John 3:16 For God so the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. One of my favorite hymns and my mother also. We sang it as she was passing away.
