I absolutely love this tune! Southern fried rock with smart-alec lyrics. It does not get any better than this for a Southern boy. Pass the biscuits please!

I spent a good bit of my life in Georgia and lemme tell ya'll, those Georgia boys are really this peppery. I ended up giving birth to one and he's about to turn 30. Love, love this and I love that raspy voiced and gap toothed sanger. And I meant to spell it sanger! He he. My mother came from a very refined Atlanta family and I'm sure she's  about to smack me one, from the other side for usin' such improper grammar. She tried hard to get all of that out of me, but I have to let it go sometimes. She made us pay her nickels for every double negative, ain't, ending a sentence with the word "at" and so much more. She had a lot of change in her pocket goin' jang a langa lang with 6 of us kids in the house.

In 1986 this song absolutely saved us from the onslaught of synth-pop. Forever grateful to Dan Baird and the boys.

Whoever isn't able to enjoy the moment and have fun and forget life's daily hassles while listening to this timeless classic by the Georgia Satellites might be lost without hope at redemption. This is pure Rock music as it is made to be, a smile erupts from the face as if by magic and many folks likely break out in dance and remember the days of their youth when this number is heard. Who will deny that this song falls into the very rare category of music that transforms ones state of mind as if Heavens Angels have descended from the good place and lifted your soul to unearthly heights. Least it does for me. Peace
