I think he made some more records with Jenkins, but internet research turns up virtually nothing for me either.

One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Almost as beautiful as Susan Hayward, herself.

To each his own. I have no problem with this version and love the orchestra.

Timeless and beautiful music from a timeless and beautiful film. Susan Hayward, who starred in "My Foolish Heart", and nominated for a 2nd Oscar for her performance in this film, was the very best. Thank you for posting.

Totally agree with you - this has been my favourite song since I saw the film as a child and SUSAN has been my favourite star ever since! She was SO beautiful and talented too - nobody can hold a candle to her on the screen and never will! Miss her so much.

Sandy can be a man or a woman's name. The male singer is named Sandy Evans, as far as I can tell from my research.

I've loved this movie for more than 50 years ever since I first saw it as a boy and the song, along with "Isn't It Romantic?", is my all time favorite. And Gordon Jenkins's version is THE definite version of the song. What a shame that this wonderful movie with one of Susan's all time best performances and an enormous hit when it was released is not out on DVD.
