Immortal Technique, I listen to this song of yours early in the morning before going to teach at my community non-profit. I have a printed out copy of the lyrics under my desk, where no one can see the curse words to help me get through the day and remind me of the kind of teacher I want to be.
My Gov. / Econ. teacher showed us this song today in class. She had us annotate the lyrics and I came to one conclusion. He said "philosophizing about freedom and socialist democracy is usually unfortunately beyond their rational." My thought on this is that more students should be taught as I've been taught by my teacher, and that the future generations that will one day run America shouldn't be brought up with the preconceived notions that this country is great, but rather that this country is run off the backbone of the rest of the world that the U.S. has impoverished. We should know that this country that we call free really isn't free, and that we're all puppets for the elite of America to profit off of. America isn't great, and it never has been; it's all a lie. We still have a chance for a future in which America can be what we were told that it was, thanks Ms. Best for giving my this knowledge!
