This song reminds me of the memory of my best friend, my mom, who passed from cancer. Carrying her love with me forever and always. I miss you, wildflower.
Lyrics for Wildflower from Earthwalker vinyl LP inside cover:
She was ready to leave home, her journey planned out for so long, and in a moment it was all taken away. It tears at her skin. It pulls out her hair. It seems sometimes life just isn't fair. I know, I know nothing is forever. When you go, when you go what will you treasure? These days are passing by like clouds in the summer sky. Hold close what you love in life. Like whispers of winter, she faced the last of her days. Why doesn't fortune ever favour the brave? Tears stream down her face like pouring rain. We saw her bloom like a wildflower. I know, I know nothing is forever. When you go, when you go what will you treasure? These days are passing by like clouds in the summer sky. Hold close what you love in life. These are words you'll never read, and I'm a voice you'll never hear. I know you fly free, and you haven't left me. You're always with me. Relieving all the pain, you shed away your shell but not in vain. Love is the only answer, with joy and laughter, forever after. I miss you wildflower.
Like 10% of the number of likes on this song I've cried while I was making a portrait for the chick and wrote the lyrics on the back of the portrait, which "she will never read" them, by me, which "she will never hear my voice ever again". Thank god it exists such a band with its sadness, because when somebody feels deeply the song, and willing to cry, this one meets your desire. Beautiful song...
Yesterday I lost the love of my life, my grandmother, I lost her to cancer, an unjust and thankless disease , but it is hard for all these years , until the last breath. For some reason I always had wildflower as my favorite song from the first time I heard it , the kind of music that ruffled me in all the thousands of times I listened . Today I know that my wildflower is my grandmother, and I am eternally grateful to this song , in proportion to my love for my grandmother is infinite , thanks to you guys ...

Was listening to northlane when I saw this band did a song with Joel birch from amity affliction and clicked on it. Went to the store and bought this CD that day without hearing any other songs and now I can't stop listening. all their lyrics are so deep and beautiful I'm so glad a band like this exists. Keep doing what you're doing IHW I wish thee were more people like you.
