J. B. Lenoir is one of the most collectible Chicago bluesmen for two important reasons:  his records are beyond rare (almost all of them) and he has the most singular voice in Blues music.  He used his high-pitched voice as a weapon against oppression and didn't give a damn about the controversy.  This is about the best protest record I ever heard.  The music is bare naked blues and the message doesn't give an inch...just the way I like it.  Listen up and learn yourself a lesson.

Up  to this time, blacks voted only Republican.  I'm not too sure that Eisenhower had anything to do with Lenoir's problems, but this is about the time blacks started voting only Democratic.
