I heard this song one time on NY radio I knew the time because I remembered that Marvin Gaye's Pride and Joy was out at the same time some time later a year or two I didn't know the artist and I went to the three stores in NY that had huge stocks of old 45s but nobody could tell me anything I finally found it on the internet and it's obvious that the powers that shut down napster and limewire may have won some battles but the war is lost Thank God!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for all your efforts

I'm quite the opposite. I think that the background singers are great, making this one super record!

The backing was so important. Remember, there were no strobe lights, video background, synthesizers and all the other gizmos. Just the singer, background singers, the band. It was fun to watch the synchronized steps the background singers would do. Like the Drifters, Temptations and all the Doo Wop groups. We would move and clap along with the background singers. It was fun.

PBS 106.7 brought me here, had this song in my head all week
