This is music I can actually feel.. I don't know how to explain it, but this music is just amazing..and Augustus Pablo is such a legend! I'm a rocker! :)
Folks...This track takes me back to my youth, when every Friday, a number of us would dress-up in our cut tailor cut trousers, with the wide waist striped, and the tailor cut suit jackets. We would then bunk the train from Slough Station to Paddington and jump on the Metropolitan Line to, Westbourne Park tube station, and walk down to St Lukes Rd, hearing the bassline of the Sound System called Jah Sufferrer, before we head into the club called THE METRO....!!!! I long for those carefree days again....sweet sixteen...!!!Folks

Baby I Love You So
(H. Swaby, J. Miller)
Baby I love you so
And this is what I really know
And if you should ever leave and go away
Baby I'll be slaving every day
Night and day I'll pray
That love will come my way
The evolution of Jamaican music is really fascinating. From the first indigenous sounds of Mento onto Ska, then to evolve rhythmically into Reggae & Dub within a matter of years, demonstrates the creativeness of those involved, - using limited resources at their disposal...
Miller's voice is hitting you hard, tubby is hitting you hard, this song is hitting my bones harder than any muay thai training I've had. But I like it, I love it, cannot get enough, Im addicted, still after all those years.. I love you uncle, ..thanks for playing Jacob Miller back in the days non stop..Thank you for my addiction. Peace
