Every time I listen to this tune I get teary-eyed and choked up. Beautiful memories I wish I could re-live again.

It is true, Jay Black has a great vocal gift and will always be one of finest singers of all time.

The man has one of the greatest voices in Rock N Roll.

I'm 59 years old and have all their albums. I knew he was special when I was a teenager....just like him. Love to see young people appreciating his voice. He was awesome.

Magical, sounds a bit like Roy Orbison, I like Gene Pitney's version also, it's very powerful and sends shivers down my spine just like Jay And The Americans singing it.

Back in the early seventies I played guitar for young lady. Jay and the Americans was and is one of my favorite groups. I told this young lady that my favorite song was Cara Mia when I heard that song my heart would break. She told me that Jay Black was her first cousin. She said that he is playing in LA and she will call him and let me talk to him. I thought I died and went to heaven. I didn't get a chance to talk to him because he just got on stage. The next day I went to her house and play guitar for her again and Jay Black was there. We played and sang together for about an hour and a half. Next to marring my late wife I've never been so happy or proud. He is a wonderful lovely man and is very giving and loving. Thank you Jay you made my life happy again.

Jay Black has never been given, in my humble opinion,the acclaim as a vocalist that he deserves.This particular song shows the power and range of his vocal ability.  He is truly a gifted singer.

Don't want to be an old fogey stuck in the 60's but... Who exactly do we have today who sings like this guy or Roy Orbison, or Gene Pitney etc.

This is music! This will never die!

Jay Black (David Blatt) could write and speak Hebrew, in addition to taking his singing skills to an international level while feeding a financially ruinous gambling addiction. He kept the title, "The Voice" and no one could take that from him.

This was my mother's favorite song. We played it at her funeral as we were leaving. Every time i hear it it makes me cry
