Perfect song, the Edith Piaf version is outstanding.  However Jeff had such a magical, beautiful voice.  A life taken too soon.

This is so beautiful it brings everything back. That old French refrain I used to know. It aches. It aches. I have been dead and now I'm not. This song captures that feeling wholly. Was I awake till now?

I just never get tired of this song. I have listened to it at least once or twice a day. Jeff is such an amazing voice and I dearly miss him.  He was not a part of my life, but he was! He got me through my divorce, and I will be forever grateful for his comfort, even though he did not know that he provided it.

Eyes closed, deep breaths... pure bliss. ♥️

When you listen to Jeff you can just imagine something...... a natural castrato, I mean if we would've the chance to listen to Farinelli or one of them may be Jeff voice is the nearest aproximation of what a castrato voice was.....
