I am 56 & I have been in love with Jimmy Clanton since I was 4 years old...My parents had his album and listened to it every Sunday. I would lay on the floor and just look at the pictures on the album cover while this song played. It was featured in Peggy Sue Got married and it put me in the mood to hear the whole song again.

This song reminds of “Peggy Sue Got Married” when Jim Carrey’s character says at a party “Turn off the lights and put on some make out music”

What a great song from the greatest era of music. Jimmy Clanton was from Baton Rouge Louisiana. I’m from New Orleans and we all were so proud of him here in Louisiana.
