Jimmy, Kenny Burrell and Stanley Turrentine complemented each other perfectly during the years they recorded together. Jimmy's bass lines on this track perfectly fit the title of the album. They sound like the hum of a jazz-tuned diesel engine; the lead diesel of the Midnight Special.

I grew up listening to music like this and this was one of my parent's all time favorites. Their gone now but this sounds good like it did back when it was new. We had the 8-Track. A lot of y'all might not know about that. Lol

I'm sure Jimi's 'Still Raining, Still Dreaming was influenced by this.  What do you think?
