another pops had retired from 25 or 30 years of driving a greyhound he met this young sweet thing slipped and tripped and fell in love with her, every month he would pay her rent , and even bought her a new car two of her friends went on a cruise she wanted to go too so he paid for that too next thing you know pops had to come out of retirement and go back on the in a bus, his nestegg had dwindled greyhound wouldn't rehire him back because he was too old, he drove for a private coach line.

Still goose bumps after so many years when listening to Joe's songs. Unforgettable memories from back in the day when we held ‘American Parties’ (bring your own soda and chips) in the attics of the apartment buildings we lived (in Amsterdam). With my Surinam and Dutch friends and Dutch, Indonesian and Surinam girls we danced on these old soul classics. Thank you mr. Tex, for having and sharing these wonderful moments.
