We adopted our little boy in 2012. He is now 2 and a half. The Lord blessed us with him a few months before I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. My son was one of my greatest joys through it all! I turn 50 next month and I am now cancer free! I am so thankful to God for that and for my precious little boy! Adoption is a glorious experience and a precious gift from God. Thank you John Waller for this beautiful song expressing this. Jesus does indeed hear the orphan. Will we adults listen to him about adoption?

You know my sister and I never liked talking about this, but this song truly makes me cry. We were blessed with the best foster parents we could've asked for. As a 15 year old girl with chronic autism, my foster parents have spent 8 years working with me so that they could adopt me and my sister together. If they would have given up on me, my sister and I would've been separated and I likely would be homeless.
So thank you to all the people adopting children.

Dear Mindy. This song is not about rescuing any one. Is a song to bring awareness about our capacity to share our love, that the lord has made it infinite and some times we need to become aware or reminded that there are young souls out there that can use our love and we theirs. Yes in a way when you adopt a child is a "rescue" and that is fine.

Love this video and the message. We adopted 2 boys from China in 2012 and they have been the blessing more to us than we have to them, I'm sure! They both had medical needs and were in the special needs program in China. They needed medical care and were not getting it in China. People always say, "Oh they are so blessed/lucky to have you!" and we reply with, "No, We are blessed to have THEM! We are blessed that God chose us as their parents". We are so thankful that their birth parents gave them the best gift: life.
