Johnny Lytle was an amazing vibe player. I can still see him playing at the Hub-Bub lounge in Indianapolis, which my parent's owned. He always had an affectionate and welcoming smile that caused you to enjoy his music even more. RIP, Mr. Lytle. Hello to Butch, too.
I am listening to this as I am curious what his music was like.I was at a graveyard this morn in Springfield OH and came across Johnny Lytle's grave. Very small headstone that is almost unnoticeable. Always hard to understand life isn't it? He was quite a musical artist it sounds like to me. Thanks.
For a former boxer, Lytle has a nice, soft touch. And he's not afraid to let those notes hang in the air a lot longer than some other vibes guys. Great track, trt524. Anybody that knows about Lytle is ok with me.
This my Uncle. Music was his passion and love. I miss him dearly. I remember listening to him practice all of his music. I am glad you all get to experience hos crafted passion. An amazing man.
