Thanks so much for this posting. I was with the 3rd Bmb Wing during the Korean War, and this beautiful piece of music made it's way to Japan in late '53. Thanks again.

This is it , the greatest music ever, Johnny Smith, genius, with Stan, the end. When Iwas at school in the early '50s I used to sing the solos as I went home from school........still do coming up to 80 now though !!!!!!

I LOVE the snare hits on 1,2,3 and 4! What other songs are there where the drummer plays like this??

You gotta tell me. The Super Mario World "Game Over Theme" was heavily inspired by this. 2:19 Listen to these chords.

Music never comes any sweeter than this. Every man has his "spotted tones." Exquisite sound from the first bar to the last.

Epitomises the cool jazz of my mid-teens, early 1950s, and turned me into a life-long small group jazz fan. Thank you so much. :)

This rendition changed my perspective of guitar playing . I gave up trying to play rock and emulate Mr Smith playing technique . Got to meet the man in NY

Sad to think that this has had only 26K+ views when there are less accomplished pieces getting 10, 20, 30 times that number.

I'm a Senior now but l recall falling in love with this when l was four maybe. It sounds so fresh to this day. I think my older siblings must have played it a lot. Just lovely. Johnny Smith was a killer on that Guitar and l thought that sounded like Mr. Getz. Wow

A Great Jazz guitarist. The bridge sounds like the bridge to That's All. Beautiful!
