This makes the hair on my arms to stand up... Hammond and the Beast... probably the greatest sound in rock music. They are also my favourite pieces of furniture.

Jon is the best

This is so cool. There are countless covers of the Toccata but almost none of the Fugue. Mr. Lord recorded a superb version of the fugue having composed his own toccata. Much respect.

I always liked Jon better than Keith emerson. Nothing's wrong with KE, I just like Jon's compositions better

Dear Jon. As long as your music inspire people, and people listen to, love and play your music, you will not be totally dead. RIP.

I'm playing organ and piano since the late sixties. Jon was my first influence and still is. Fabulous musician. R.I.P. Jon.

All of you friends are absolutely right. The Lord of piano and keyboard WAS, IS and WILL be Jon Lord. I don't understimate Wakeman, Emerson, Hensley and Airey but his contribution to the music in the past 50 years is immense. RIP.
