I know i m in trouble again, and we love our lovin Mitchell, but not like we love our freedom
Didn t it feel good, didn t it feel good Mitchell, and you love your lovin
Sweet freedom, but not like we love our freedom
i think i m falling in love with you
We were sitting there talking, didn t it feel good, i think i m falling in love with you
but not like you love your freedom
i know i m in trouble again
like a sweet talking ladies man
You dance with the lady, sweet freedom Me, didn t it feel good
like a sweet talking ladies man
didn t it feel good
I know i m in trouble again, didn t it feel good Help, come down to smoke and ash
Didn t it feel good, didn t it feel good
Sweet freedom, you dance with the lady
Didn t it feel good, i know i m in trouble again, i know i m in trouble again
We love our lovin, didn t it feel good
it s got me hoping for the future
didn t it feel good
i think i m falling in love too fast
And flirting around and hurting, i m in trouble cause you re a rambler and gambler Me, but not like we love our freedom
Come down to smoke and ash, i ve seen a lot of hot Me, didn t it feel good
Come down to smoke and ash, or lying there not talking, didn t it feel good
But not like we love our freedom, it s got me hoping for the future, didn t it feel good
Come down to smoke and ash, with the hole in her stocking Me, or lying there not talking
I hated to say it the 1970's music was the best time to hear the finest songs and music for ever in someone life.
i really miss and love those beautiful times!!!
This song reminds me of my parents station wagon in the mid 70s. Sitting in the back seat wilth the am radio going and the window down, thinking about what's going on in my life.. at the ripe old age of 9. LOL!!!
I met her once about 22 years ago at a movie premiere in Los Angeles. The lobby was almost empty (everyone was already inside in their seats) and my Lady and I were hanging out for a bit in the lobby and Ms. Mitchell came strolling into the theater alone. I looked her way and said "Hello" and she immediately came striding over to my Lady and I smiling (her smile illuminated the entire room) as if we knew each other and greeted us warmly. She was kind, gracious, lovely and had an enchanting vibe. Everything you would hope upon meeting her in person.
Not only is she a musical genius she's so physically beautiful it's incredible. I also wanted to mention Joni never cared what was in style, she had her own style. Thanks for sharing these great photos.
Talent on a SUPERNATURAL level. From the opening of this incredibly written, produced and performed song, she takes you on a journey through the heart & soul of humanity.
When Led Zeppelin made their first tour to North America in 70's Jimmy Page and Robert Plant wanted to meet only two musicians,Elvis and Joni Mitchell ,Led Zeppelins song from ZoSo or Led Zeppelin 4 "Going to California" the lyrics "Find the queen without a king,....They say she plays guitar and cries...... And sings "..... was inspired by Joni Mitchell's California,
This song is amazing how it flows and it has a jazzy feel to it but it’s still a pop song. Very sophisticated! Her melodies are like free flowing jazz almost.
