I really liked this, so thank you. I thought the images matched the lyrics. I personally think this song can be about God. So often we think that we don't need God, but we do. We need to confess that we've done wrong. God is gracious and loving. He has more beauty and grace than any man or woman. God forgives and accepts us, no matter what we've done. We need to stop ignoring every blessing He has given and accept the love He is offering.

This song is mainly about confession, i personaly believe it's a confession to God, it's how i feel it, someone else feels it's a confession to a friend, or to a love partner, etc., so it depends on the person... I think writers leave a space for many interpretation, so that a lot of people can recognize themselves in a song, and call it their own.

I've loved this song from the minute I heard it, and I recently found out that Josh is singing to God. I truly love it even more. I know the power of God in my life, I've had stage II brain cancer for 6.5 years and I'm still holding steady. Cancer has been an unexpected blessing, I see life more precious, family and friends mean so much more to me. My husband and I have a stronger marriage, and my faith in God has gotten more deep and unfailing.
