Man, this is amazing. Never thought I'd enjoy any new material of Journey's since all I know is all the oldies, but man do they deliver! They never lost a beat! (No pun intended) and all this stuff about Arnel is crazy. These haters remind me of those all-american muscle car guys who diss on imports because they're imports. A "good", fast, reliable, whatever car is a "good", fast, reliable, whatever car...just as a good band is a good band, regardless of gender, race, or no Steve Perry.

People, please. All y'all that are lamenting Steve Perry this/that yes he was the bomb. But this is Journey, without him. The core of Journey has remained consistent and strong - Neal, Jonathan, Steve, etc...and Arnel does a great job honoring the songs of the past and yet creating the music going forward. Revelation would have been as huge a hit in the 70s as any other Journey album, it captures the essence of the band and their music. Enjoy it for what it is. And I hear Steve Perry is about to release a new album. I can't wait to hear it.

Hey everyone, we should be thanking Arnel for taking over. Steve Perry had his time and was great but if someone doesn't take his place one of the best groups of this generations dies. I am extremely thankful because they don't make this kind of music anymore. So Please let's not trash talk each other but be thankful for great music

I love to read all of your opinions, but you all seem to agree on one thing.......... no matter who you like singing the Journey songs, it's still them, and you stay wrapped in the music they have done for decades. That's important. You can't deny the messages that this band has sent for years, and how it hits all of us personally. I myself, have enjoyed Journey since the late 70's, prefer Steve as the singer, but I too do not discount Arnel continuing on a great legacy, despite some saying "it's just not the same". When I went to their concerts in the 80's, got to shake Steve's hand in '82, it leaves a personal impact. You always remember that and don't want to let go and don't want to see changes. You want it to always be, but life isn't like that. I am sad Steve is now about 67 yrs old, but still doing his magic. I also give Arnel a tip of the hat so we can continue to enjoy Journey in a new way. Journey Fans............ always my Friends. And Steve said one thing to me I want all of you to remember back in '82..............."Thanks for being a Fan".... Please never forget that, pass it on, keep listening.

I still believe that it was Steve Perry and his talent that brought them to life, yes there was a Journey before Steve, one that was going to be dropped by their record label, it was Steve's talent as a song writer as well as his voice that brought them to the radio and to platinium level. Arnel is a good singer and the songs he does that he wrote are great, he just isn't Steve Perry. I just think they should have created a new name for the group and all the flack about Arnel wouldn't be

Just because it's not Perry doesn't mean it's not good. Granted, I, too, prefer Steve Perry, but that doesn't mean I can't see the good in Journey since he left.
