I love the overdubbed tom fills throughout the song. I feel the band had something really special with Dave Holland, but if you think about it would the Painkiller album be the as good without Scott Travis' double bass?

This album, Point Of Entry, a simple, but effective departure, faced the harshest reviews by critics across the board. I mean, Priest got hammered hard in the reviews. Yet, this is some of the best guitar work and overall arranging one can ask for. This is actually my favorite priest album, probably because they obviously weren't interested in another "British Steel". They did what they felt like doing and that was it.
Anyone can scream some solos with a bunch of bends and 16ths. This was a well written, tight pocket album, especially this song. Listen closely to Solar Angels and Turning Circles as well. Pretty tight and disciplined. Then again, Kenny and Glenn were an untouchable tandem in many ways. Enjoy your retirement Kenny.

"in burning rubber i end my quest. you fall into my arms at last!" i listened to this while on the road alone from texas to cali. it was a very long trip but i knew it was worth it because i was going to meet the love of my life for the first time. i met my now husband online and had a long distance relationship with him for almost 2 years until i decided to move to cali. this song means so much to me because it reminds me of the time we spent apart and the journey i took to get to him. we have been married for 3 years now and have a son together. i listen to this song and judas priest all the time
