It was written by Tracy Chapman, she released it in 1995 on 'New Beginning' but performed it as early as 1989. Junior Wells covered this in 1996 on his album 'Come On in This House'. Both versions are great!

I love this version alot more, it has the original delta style, and a blues feeling to it, which I can't get enough of. And the harmonica solo is outstanding. I love Juniors work, and always will. RIP Junior Wells, you did a great job. Sonny Boy Williamson II is proud of you.

Junior Wells (at the young age of seven) stole a harmonica from the local music store. The store owner had him brought before the judge who asked him why he stole it. He said, "Your Honor, I HAD to have this harmonica". The judge asked him to play it. He did. The judge asked the shop owner how much the harmonica was, to which the shop owner replied, "Fifty cents". The judge pulled fifty cents out of his pocket, paid the shop owner, and dismissed the case.
